KGHM Polska Miedź S.A is a world leader in copper production. Annually, the KGHM Group produces approximately 700 thousand tons of electrochemically refined copper. One of the KGHM branches is Huta Miedzi Głogów (HMG) – Copper Smelter Głogów. This plant is composed of two technological lines – HM Głogów I and HM Głogów II.
